Since there’s no rule against cigarettes, or at least an arrangement for related matter, there will a lot of people suffering unhealthy life. Is is fact that cigarette is something deserving for state income.
In some life environment, still a lot of smoker don’t understand that its smoke disturb many people around. They just enjoy it for their sake without feeling what people around them feels about it. It’s okay that smoking is a right for every person, but they have to know that other people around has their right to breathe the air without smoke (from cigarette).
Unfortunately, some of Islamic Jurist (and also some teacher) didn’t mention this. They usually put smoking in grey area: smoking is permittable. And unfortunately too, they are also a smoker!
Personally, I am proclaim that cigarette is extremely HARAM. For smoker theirself, it is a bad habit and bad for their health. And since smoke usually unintentionally inhaled by non-smoker, but in fact it’s hurt their health.
